Parents are reminded that SIS does not authorise leave during term time.  If a child has two consecutive weeks of unauthorised absence then, the child may be taken off-roll without further notice.  Children are also taken off-roll for three consecutive weeks of unauthorised lateness.

If a child is off-rolled for attendance or punctuality, then parents do not have the right to appeal against the decision. The child will need to re-apply and go through the same admission process which is expected from a child joining SIS for the first time.
