SIS is a non-profit making school run by contributions (fees) from parents and partners. Parental contribution per child is £250 for the whole year.
Minimum age for admission is six years. Children are admitted by selection and organised both in terms of age and ability. SIS applies the following admission criteria when selecting pupils:
1. children of the right age group for which places are available
2. children whose needs can be met by the school
3. children who live close to the school
4. children who have siblings (brothers and sisters) in the school
Unsuccessful applicants need to re-apply as the school does not operate a waiting list.
SIS usually only admits children from September. This allows the school to ensure that all children are taught well and following the same syllabus.
However, on rare occasions the school may accommodate enrolment at different time of the year. Interested parents are requested to email their requests to admin@saturdayislamicschool.co.uk
